Bring Your Pa (and Paws) to Virginia Wine Country this Weekend

June 13-15, 2014

Each week, the Wine Dogs sniff out the most PAWSOME wine events in Virginia. Father’s Day weekend brings Wine & Wags at Lexington Valley, Cobblerpalooza at Cobbler Mountain, or head to Little Washington for cigar and wine pairings.

Join Katy for Wine & Wags
June 13, Wine and Wags at Lexington Valley Vineyard. Celebrate Friday with unique Virginia wines and your furry friends! Stroll the vineyards; bring a picnic lunch or purchase snack baskets. Water and biscuits for Fido. Join other dog lovers for a waggingly good time (recurs monthly on the second Friday through October).

June 13-15, Cobblerpalooza!
It’s anniversary time (#3) at the always pet-friendly Cobbler Mountain Cellars, and Jeff and Laura are celebrating in style. Live music all weekend (open mic on Saturday night).
Farm products, gourmet lunches, even local soapmakers. And don’t miss out on Jeff’s hand-crafted wines and cider, including the unique maple port-style wines made from genuine Vermont syrup.

June 14-15, Dad-Dad-Dad-Dad .... Rrrrrratatatah, Rrrrrratatatah! Little Washington Winery is smokin’ this weekend. Tastings will feature all of Dad's favorite Manly Man wines and they’re adding a cigar deck with cigar and wine pairing lessons at the tasting bars on Saturday and Sunday.
